Role Summary/Purpose

GoldSeal Hardware Engineer will deliver refurbishment and remanufacturing NPI design elements and lead the V&V activities to deliver GoldSeal products.

Essential Responsibilities

• Design refurbishment and remanufacturing processes and configurations for GoldSeal offerings • Deliver test plans for GoldSeal products • Utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools to optimize quality and productivity of refurbishment and remanufacturing processes • Ensure product safety, reliability, and manufacturability in designs • Support an inclusive, positive, and empowering team environment • Engage in all phases of new product introduction: concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support • Identify and develop new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the modality product line • Ensure reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships.

Quality Specific Goals:1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required4. Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables5. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible6. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and cross functionallyQualifications:1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field2. Excellent oral and written English skills.3. Excellent and creative problem solving skills, sound judgment.

1. Masters degree in Electrical Engineering2. Demonstrated circuit design experience in Analog or Mixed Signal disciplines3. Demonstrated self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task.4. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets5. Global project experience6. EMC compatible design/solution experience7. Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs8. EEDP Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills9. Program Graduate10 DFSS or Green Belt/Black Belt Certified (Six Sigma Design/Quality)
