Job Description
With the rapid pace of marketing innovation and breadth of Honeywell offerings in the Aerospace and Aviation industries, it’s an exciting time to work in the marketing field and at Honeywell. Honeywell Aerospace has a unique and exciting Senior Customer Marketing Specialist position at its Shanghai, China campus contributing to the success of the Asia Pacific region’s marketing efforts spanning brand and reputation, sales lead and revenue generation and customer experience.
As we evolve and focus more on highly personalized and customized marketing per customers, this digital marketing focused position will help transform lead and revenue generation, brand awareness and the customer experience and contribute directly to APAC sales and business growth.
With this role, we aim to better align more precise customer engagement and quickly adjust marketing tactics and investment based on the results and analytics we receive.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the APAC marketing and sales teams throughout the Customer Decision Journey from awareness through to purchase and product installation and service. Understand and focus on the core digital marketing tactics for proper follow up on key decision makers mapping, messaging, and influencing through the sales lead funnel to revenue.
- Design and execute mass marketing and highly targeted digital strategies and tactics to impact on customer purchasing behaviors in support of APAC/ China business initiatives.
- Work with the team to generate content and targeted messaging and ensure cross-coordination to the right APAC countries and marketing and PR disciplines. This can include social media, infographics, ads, photos, videos, blogs and much more.
- Work with PR with enlarged scope of influence by continuously building the right branding messages, thought leadership, especially challenging the convergence of traditional and social media.
- Leverage the new Honeywell brand promise and digital focus to create new concepts and designs to generate leads and improve the customer experience.
- Provide counsel, analysis and insight about new digital marketing KPIs and metrics – adjust “on the fly” based on the results you are seeing from the data.
- Partner closely with the sales team, sales excellence, Honeywell User Experience and IT teams.
- Develop and monitor existing digital platform such as HON aero website for China, Weibo, and WeChat, and regional popular social media vehicles. Understand and explore the other arising social media platforms for relevant country market in APAC.
- As integral part of the global customer marketing team, work closely with the Aero APAC leadership team, but also the larger marketing team worldwide in Aerospace, the region and corporate.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience (agency experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism or other related field
- High proficiency in multimedia applications and digital marketing tactics
- Self-directed, highly motivated, results-driven
- Strong presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success working across borders in matrix organization
- Excellent English written and spoken English; other languages a significant benefit
- Pragmatic, revenue-oriented approach to proactive problem solving and prioritization
- Experience partnering with customers/stakeholders/IT to drive participation and collaboration
- Strong interest in emerging social media and interactive trends and their business application to Honeywell Aerospace
- Ability to execute to budget, schedule and quality requirements
- Experience operating in ambiguous, dynamic environment with evolving requirements, expectations and organizational needs
- Strong program management skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
- Profound understanding and proven skills on all digital tools such as site core, Marketo, Adobe, salesforce.com, Google Ads, Google Analytics and social media outlets such as WeChat or Weibo, or others.
