Area Mission: support business decisions from technical expertise ensuring customer satisfaction and the manufacturing viability of the products
 
Key responsibilities
1. Support:
? Based on the technical expertise or specialization, the packaging engineer will support the product specialist and project coordinators to take the right decisions for producing adequate products following the commercial Quadpack procedures.
? Mentors and trains team members with less experience.
2. Quotation:
? Support Business Development in enquiry, briefing, and quotation processes.
3. Product Definition
? Propose new technical designs adapted to the client needs.
? Ensure the technical feasibility, effectiveness, capacity, timing and commercial viability of all projects and designs
? Manage the coordination of the industrialization process and technical delivery of all projects and designs.
? Liaise with the laboratory to determine test protocols and procedures for all projects and designs.
? Liaise with customers/suppliers to determine test protocols and procedures for all projects and designs.

Qualifications/Skills required
? 3 -4 years of experience in the packaging or beauty industry or 3 years of experience in a similar position.
? Excellent technical knowledge of packaging development and production.
? Knowledge of make-up, skin care or fragrance packaging is preferable.
? Ability to read and draw technical drawings.
? Advanced user level of IT applications (including Solid works or similar tools).
? Previous experience in multinational environments and transversal projects.
? Availability to travel (30%-50%).
