Role Summary/Purpose

To lead engineering team functional excellence, to support other functions to achieve plant goals & objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Liaise with functional departments to ensure the engineering team is responsible for new product developments and to share technical information and customer feedback so that the organization can response quickly 2. Work closely with the sales team to to provide tendering on timely basis 3. Work closed with sourcing team to provide BOM and related information for sourcing activties 4. Works in close co-operation with the Project Manager to meet the deliverables, cost targets and quality requirements 5. Lead electrical and mechanical team to achieve customers requirements 6. Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of professional to achieve established engineering targets, e.g budget, quality, accuracy, etc. 7. Plan engineering team capabiliity to cope with plant business plan 8. Lead standardization team to achieve design cost down

Qualifications/Requirements

Education Mechanic or Electrical Master Degree Experience and Skills 1. 10 years’ engineering in medium and high voltage motor industry 2. Profound Knowledge in general motor design-Product design skills (from concept development to detail design) 3. Management experience is a plus 4. Good technical understanding and technical decision making ability 5. Good knowledge on Pro-E, CAD and related software application 6. Fluent English and Chinese is a Must
