Description
objective· Jointly with franchise responsible for development and execution of new product/claim development and pipeline
· Coordination of technical aspects of the projects from initiation, briefing, progress and completion
· Provide technical support to Franchise, local Marketing and support functions.
§ Working with Franchise/Marketing and other relevant functions to generate product & concept ideas based on consumer insights, develop short-term & long-term product pipeline for AP region. Lead screening and prioritization upon technical insights and project portfolio management skill, and provide inputs into project charters.
§ Working with relevant technical groups including Product Design, TATT, GSDO and suppliers to identify and evaluate technology for the new product concepts, introductions and pipeline development for Johnson's Body Care Brand.
§ Jointly wither WW R&D group, identify, initiate and coordinate technical and consumer activities/tests to qualify and validate new product ideas and new technology from AP regions to roll out to global and vice versa.
§ Translate marketing/consumer needs to technical product requirements in the Project Charter and brief to PD group accordingly. Work with Marketing/Product Design/Technical Transfer/Consumer Science/Scientific Affairs/QA/Packaging team in identification and substantiation of new differentiated product position, claims and demos.
§ Coordinate with Marketing/supply chain management on the technical part of the project execution, ensuring flawless launch of new initiatives to meet business target. Identify and assess the potential risk on execution of new initiatives, align the risk management/ mitigation plan with senior management.
Provide pipeline and project update to senior management through regular face to face meetings, R&D monthly report, and other channels
Qualifications
Above university graduation, with chemistry or biochemistry relevant majors
Above 8 years in relevant functions in skin care R&D
