Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Quality Manager the primary function of the Quality Engineer is to liaise with MC and supplier to ensure that quality activities are actioned successfully and in a timely manner.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that any complaints are handled and submitted within the time frame.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for the performance monitoring and improvement activities within the supply chain working closely with the manufacturers and other colleagues.

In addition to this the Quality Engineer supports on-going improvements to the Quality Management System. The Quality Engineer supports any other Quality activities as required by the nature of the department.

 

• Handle Customer Complaint and Supplier Complaint

• Lead stock inspections ( Internal & External)

• Review Customer Quality requirements

• 8D report Evaluation

• Support Customer Visit

• Carry out Internal Audits

• PPAP/QS9000 & VDA 2 documentation

• Support Automotive process as required

Requirements:

• Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload accordingly

• Is an all-round team player

• At least 2 years quality management experience, familiar with quality tools and methods

• To be competent to audit the QMS in line with ISO 9001/IATF16949

• Be adverse in problem resolution to complete correctives actions adequately

• Work to achievable targets and objectives

• Capability to read engineering drawings

Well reading and writing skills
