Responsibilities & Duties
The candidate will be part of the NAND/SSD Engineering team responsible for Product Development Engineering and manufacturing support of NSG's high performance, revolutionary NAND & Solid State Disk Drives, which is being tested at our subcon in Shanghai areas, also own Test Code & Firmware developments independently for new Derivative NAND/SSD products. Candidate will work with Development Engineering, Systems Engineering, Firmware, Application, and NSG's SSD factory subcons to help develop and verify proper test capability/improvements, to ensure adequate quality of Intel-branded NAND systems and SSD modules. Responsibilities include test flow and test firmware development, factory interface, production support with respect to testing methods, procedures, Failure Analysis, yield improvement and analysis of customer returns, optimizing device production relative to cost constraints, for both HVM products and Derivative/Out-source products.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidate should possess a relevant educational qualification. Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, etc.
- 2+ years working experience in Flash memory (NAND/NOR) experience and/or SSD experience, primarily in test methodologies, test development and tester platforms.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills and the ability to work well with teams outside of Intel, both in the US and Asia.
- Regular travel which may include extended stay.
- Working knowledge of entire Memory & System Test flow (AFB, Probe, SMT, Test, Q&R) would be an added advantage
- experience with PC System, SSDs or HDDs would be a plus
