JOB TITLE: Compliance Specialist

REPORTS TO:  Legal Director, China

DEPARTMENT:  Legal   

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB (BRIEF SUMMARY)

 

To ensure the operation of Medtronic Greater China comply with all applicable laws and ethics on compliance;

To ensure effective controls in place to prevent and detect any incompliance of regulations;

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES  (Please list most important duties first)

 

1. Review eCATs pre-event approval to ensure compliance with company compliance policies and other related laws & regulations.

2. Assist in delivering company compliance polices and anti-corruption trainings to ensure employees are fully aware of and have access to the fundamentals of compliance in order to conduct business activities in daily operations correctly.

3. Partner closely and interact effectively and in a timely manner with business people to understand business challenges and provide compliance guidelines and solutions to enable business success.

4. Assist in monitoring activities and ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violation.

5. Proactively identify and seize opportunities to support continuous improvement efforts to ensure effectiveness and efficiently of the ethics and compliance program.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

• Law degree, or finance, audit degree with some law trainings

   

   

   

   

  JOB EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 Years experience on law, compliance, or audit

   

   

   

  SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

   

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Ability to work independently

• High integrity and self-motivated
