Role Summary/Purpose

As Funding CoE team member you are responsible for the wing to wing factoring process and managing business as well as clients’ requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Strong management of the overall Factoring process for responsible portfolios in order to achieve a smooth and in time funding. Deadlines driven by clients closing dates, closure of the banks, treasury and deadlines for Controllership and FP&A. a. Owns the Monthly Factoring Schedule for your portfolio (schedule all the steps in the factoring process) b. Constantly/pro-active interface and give guidance to other operating teams, such as; IT, Commercial, Integrations, Operations, Finance & Risk on deadlines and targets c. Work with clients on deadlines of the files to be sent 2. Communicate & closely work together with key factoring clients and other operating teams a. Accurate & prompt response and resolution to customers inquiries b. Maintain constant communication & feedback to the FactorLink development team c. Assist where necessary in Due To/Due From reconciliations with clients and/or controllership d. Follow up with clients on file loading issues & pro-active set up trainings for clients and other stakeholders on the factoring process and reports/statements e. Close cooperation with the Bank Booking Team to allocate funding repayments 3. Be the expert/”go-to” person for client data, reporting and the overall factoring process a. Ad hoc analysis & projects as required by Clients, Client managers, Controllership, FP&A or other stakeholders b. Represent the Funding CoE in integration projects c. Analysis of the total factoring process & results, including outstanding position of factoring receivables, fees charged to clients, intercompany balances, etc. Constantly reviewing results with Client Managers and FP&A. 4. All other operating activities, like: a. Accurate and in time execution, account, prepare, and review funding payments in multiple currencies for 250+ clients globally, with a receivable balance of about $7B+ USD (for deals covered/managed thru FactorLink). b. Deal execution includes coverage for Europe, the Americas and Asia c. Prepare & check funding reports for clients 5. Lead and/or Participate in improvement projects within FactorLink, Client Management, and the Funding CoE as required. 6. Assist or co-manage for the Funding CoE Leader, the different Genpact teams as needed or necessary. Genpact is an Indian outsourcing company which executes certain Funding CoE responsibilities 7. Pro-active and independent problem solver, with a standardization mindset and the right teamwork skills to share best practice with the team.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Commercial, Management or Finance degree preferred)• Minimum of 3-5 years directly related experience in financing services activities, Factoring a plus• Financial & Client Account Analysis Experience• Factoring and Trade Finance knowledge and experience a plus• Factoring System knowledge a plus• Strong ownership of your responsibilities and portfolio• Proven leadership skills, ability to drive the factoring process and other projects • Ability to build strong relationships with our stakeholders (internal as well as external)• Customer responsive, problem solver.• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment• Demonstrated effective organization & multi-tasking skills and attention to detail • Excellent computer skills, Excel a must. Knowledge of Oracle & Business Objects a plus• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (especially English) • Multilingual preferred: Mandarin and English are a requirement. Portuguese, and/or Dutch are a plus
