SUMMARY OF JOB:
Primary responsibility of this role is to manage the Product Evolution Process (PEP) and Product Withdrawal Process (PWP) projects for ITD Services. The successful candidate for this position will work across globe with a wide and diverse set of people and resources to manage project schedules and deliverables for implementation of service offer & spare.
As a Service Lead you will lead and manage all hardware and software evolutions impacting service spares or offer for ITD products, primarily for 3Ph and Cooling product range through PEP. You represent Services in the entire organization and collaborate closely with Engineering, Service Offer, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc.
In this role you will manage, monitor the progress, quality, adherence to schedule of projects awarded through PEP process. You will define schedule, resource need, scope and work with resource managers to identify resource and assign activities. You are responsible for specifying the Services deliverables, planning the Services tasks (Spare parts, technical documentation, training) and directing the execution up to completion.
Key success factors will be your ability to manage several projects and initiatives in parallel, while establish and maintain effective working relationship across time zones and cultural boundaries.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Build the Services project plan associated to the Product Change Request (PCR) being the Investigation Owner for the Services activities in product Board-of-Change.
· Define project schedule, resource requirement, scope, deliverables, evaluate business priorities, identify and mitigate risk.
· Drive the Execution of all the Services activities during a PEP ensuring the Project Reporting & Communication (Services Offering, Services related documentation, Technical Training, Field Services Bulletin, Spare parts)
· Conduct regular meeting with stake holders to discuss and monitor project progress and take decisions to drive them to reach closure.
· Participate in improving partnership between Line of Business, Engineering and Supply-Chain / Manufacturing organization
· Define the Spares offer considering current spare Inventories and stocking policy for active and phase out products
· Define Spare Parts Build plan and ramp up / ramp down strategy
· Manage and coordinate Part Qualification Request (PQR); assign activities to members of the process and validate it up to Industrial completion
· Work with tech writers to create, update and review of Services technical documentation (manuals, procedures) of products to ensure accurate technical information for Services organization.
· Monitor the update and review of the training materials to field support functions and help to design and implement training plans.
· Manage Field Services Bulletin to notify the Field on the Product Change describing On-site instructions.
· Manage spare part creation in the system, work with Industrialization team to qualification and release process of spare parts.
EDUCATION—MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL:
BA/BS Technical degree
PMP certification desired
EXPERIENCE—MINIMUM REQUIRED:
10 years experience in total
5 years experience in Project management
