Role Summary/Purpose

This role will assist the sourcing and product team in driving operational execution of a number of air conditioning product programs. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, initially focused on current suppliers, to insure we meet or exceed customer expectations. While the role contains critical day to day responsibilities, it will also include driving projects/programs to insure long term competitiveness and supply chain excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Track and monitor performance to schedule of sourced WAC , dehumidifiers, built ins and Zoneline products on a daily, weekly, monthly basis - Understand product component availability, risks, issues that may affect finished product capacity/availability 2. Identify system bottlenecks and work with current suppliers to put plans in place to reduce 3. Understand capacity, by model, and identify opportunities to handle potential increases 4. Act as the communication conduit between current suppliers and the US GE team making the US team aware of issues and utilizing them to help deal with and mitigate issues 5. Work with current suppliers and the technology team to develop and execute redundant back up plans on key components (for example, LCDI) 6. Help identify and communicate Gree team needs to Sourcing and Product Management teams in order to mitigate any production risk 7. Learn/understand Gree facilities, process, resources 8. Assist senior sourcing lead in driving future finished goods programs/projects

Qualifications/Requirements

- Primary work location: Zhouhai, China with frequent travle (as needed) to Guanzhou • BS or Master degree in Engineering or Business management • Experience in Sourcing, Production management • Minimum 3 year experience in Electronic or Electric industry….. • Excellent analytical skills and experience in the use of problem solving. • Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented environment. • Demonstrated initiative, drive, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. -Excellent communication skills and good command on English for both writing and oral
