Job description for PC-Based PLC Product Manager
Job Family: Product Management

Organization: Digital Factory
Mode of employment: Full time only
Introduction

For automation system business unit, we are looking for PC-Based PLC product manager. The main responsibility is to push PC-Based PLC portfolio to relevant channels and customers, support industry sales and jointly develop target customers to gain market share in the mid- and high-end PLC market.

What are my responsibilities?
Analyze market & business opportunity of PC-Based PLC including development of product strategy
Regional 4P strategy with focus of increasing installation base of PC-Based PLC at key OEM and SI
Being the product manager, drive and support all channels to achieve target of responsible product
Drive and support IS colleague and external partner
Promotion of PC-Based PLC at key OEM, SI and distributor
Synergize resource with BU and sales to optimize the decision process
Deliver knowledge
Organize and Provide intensive PC-Based PLC training internally and externally
Organize local promotion activities
Develop target customer/project
Define the target OEM and SI/project
Track the pilot machine/project development

What do I need to qualify for this job
Rich knowledge of responsible SIEMENS products or competitors corresponding products
Solid technical background and best with hand-on engineering experience with mid/high-end PLC esp. PC-Based PLC
Sales experience in SI, distributor or international/domestic PLC supplier.
Bachelor or above.
2-5 years working experience in automation
Knowledge of English for daily business communication
Good communication skills internally and externally, and good ability to listen
Good presentation skills to present in front of large audience
Quick learner and with good business sense
Ability for structured & analytic approach to analyze status, propose measures, implement and follow-up
Team work spirit
Willingness to travel is required
