Software Performance Customer Engineer

Job Overview:

- Support mobile chipset customer for design-win projects. - Help chipset OEMs for device performance tuning and Software optimization, give customers training of QCT products. - Help/direct Game Vendor engineers to tune Game performance on Snapdragon Chipsets. Play consultant/expert role in Performance tuning and software optimization. Identify issues reported from customers, analyze and joint debugging with various team to narrow down the root cause and fix problems.

Qualifications:

2-5years Software experience within wireless, telecommunications, semiconductor industry or Mobile Game

Strong experience in C/C++/Java programming

• Strong understanding of Linux scheduler and CPU Governor

• Good understanding of Linux Memory Management

• Good understanding of ARM v8-A architecture and SOC.

  Strong experience in Android Performance tuning

• Strong understanding of Android and Linux Performance profiling tool

• Good understanding of Android VIEW/Display/ActivityManager

• Familiar with Python/Perl or other script language. Experience in script/tool developing is a plus

  Familiar with OpenGL programming

• Familiar with Unity3D/Cocos2D Game engine or developing Game with those engine is a plus.

• Familiar with Vulkan is a plus

  Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work on resolving customer reported technical problems during mobile or wireless communication product development cycles.

  Excellent analytical, problem solving and Communication skills and willingness to work with customers
