职位描述
Active Network seeks a highly motivated and skilled Development Manager to join our growing team in Xian.
In this position, you will work with a team with skilled professionals on web-based software solutions and product.
Job Description:
This position reports into Director of China Operations, Products & Technology and is responsible for the development of one of Active' s product in China. The development manager is responsible for all tasks and budgets associated with the delivery of that product' s development team in China. S/he will drive the execution by team members in order to meet deadlines and project targets to achieve a successful implementation of features and functionalities.
Job Details:
? Serves as the primary point of contact at AW Communities China team throughout the product development
? Works closely with North American Development Manager and QA manager to provide day-to-day product development and project management duties
? Manages team assignments and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
? Update team throughput dashboard weekly or biweekly to China operations director and product development director in order to keep team progress and change visible at senior management level;
? Provides advice, consultation, and training to the team members based on industry best practices to advance in their job levels towards expertise and self-leadership quadrant from S1 to S4;
? Grow team leadership in the team and build sufficient second in commands for leadership succession plan;
? Coordinate with Product Manager and Business Analysts to ensure the initiation of business process transformation based on previous analysis
? Conduct interviews frequently in order to meet the demand of high growth in AW Communities team;
? Receive and ramp up new members in the team by working with HR, IT, and NA managers
? Prepare and conduct semi year performance review for team members in the team;
? Prepare salary bumping email of involved team members to China operations director for approval;
? Approve team member' s vacation request by consolidating request with North America manager/lead and China leads according to project schedule;
? Book weekly 1 - 1 meeting with China operations director for discussing job progress and any team member career problem;
? Book and conduct periodical operation/strategy meetings with corresponding product development directors in order to make sure China team is updated with latest information about product strategies;
Qualifications:
? Demonstrable product development and project management methodologies and tools
? Minimal 2 years experience managing the full life cycle development of custom applications in Java environments including the design, development, testing, delivery and support
? Minimal 3 years experience as a technical lead having specifically managed teams on complex software development or integration projects
? Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
? Detail-oriented and Creative
? Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and be self-starter
? Ability to complete multiple tasks/projects within deadlines
? Thrive on change and challenge
? Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent College Diploma
