Knowledge and Skills

知识与技能

A high level of English language proficiency.

2-3 years English teaching experience, especially ages 5-11;

A good understanding of the Chinese education system, grades 1-5 preferred;

(knowledge of the western education system and/or teaching methodology would be an asset)

Have a good understanding of the needs of the young learners, particularly young ESL learners.

Good computer skills e.g.: MSWord, (Power Point an asset)

具有较高流利水平的英文。

热爱教育事业。

很好的了解中国1-5年级教育体制, 最好理解西方教育体系和教学方法。

很好的了解儿童学习的需求,特别是第二外语学习者。

熟练电脑操作技巧, 比如, 微软word, 最好是Power Point。

Teacher Candidates should demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills.

A love of children and teaching.

A passionate, energetic and enthusiastic love of teaching in their words and attitude.

A willingness to work diligently as a contributing team player.

A willingness to accept Company Policy regarding the Learning Centre’s operations and regulations.

A willingness to learn new ways of doing and thinking about education and the teaching process.

An ability to view the acquisition of new skills as a challenge rather than a problem.

An understanding of the importance of having a sincere commitment to the task of educating young children (to be serious about the job).

An acceptance and a liking for other cultures and an ability to see the value of sharing cultural diversity with young children.
