Role and Responsibilities
The RSM’s role is to find new business opportunities and drive sales within a selected number of accounts (15-20) in the region. These accounts can be:
- a number selected partners (SI) with the highest revenue potential short-and long term
- A number of “future” accounts, (partners or potential partners) who have a potential to reach Solution Partner revenue requirements within a near future
- Partners involved in high value projects
- Identified end-users
The RSM handle these accounts on a daily bases, acting as a professional interface between the account and Axis.
In addition to this the individual RSM (depending on experience) can have an added responsibility focusing on for example: consultants/A&E program, segments and/or ADP’s. This means that the RSM should be driving sales with this target group in mind and also see to that the competence around the consultant/segments/ADP:s in the sales team is on the right level.
Responsibilities (key accountabilities)
? Developing clear business plans for the selected accounts
? Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up KPI:s on these.
? Working closely together with the SI:s, in order to develop the project pipeline and close projects
o Making sure that the SI:s has the necessary product portfolio to sell network Video (including software, cabling, networking and storage)
o Making sure that the SI:s are well trained to sell network video products and that they have participated in Axis Communication Academy.
o Running activities that influence and educate the accounts so they can build an ecosystem of companies around Axis to increase and thereby create a pull in the market and an early involvement in new projects.
o Making end-user visits together with the SI
? Working with marketing activities together with the SI:s in order to attract new end-user opportunities.
? Actively participate in trade shows, seminars Academies, webinars and other promotional sales activities.
? Prepare sales reports with new and existing projects

Knowledge, abilities, skills
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
? 3-5 years in a sales position
? Technical background and interest
? Pro-active, driven
? Ability to manage time and prioritize
? Confident presenter and negotiator
? Experience with indirect sales
