SLC EHS Function: EHS Project Manager

Mission

- Making sure the Siemens Global EHS Policy/Guides/Standards effectively implemented and EHS related laws and regulations requirements fulfilled in China. Ensuring effective EHS management system established and implemented based on international standards and Siemens requirements. Achieving the EHS high performance targets in continual improvement way.

What are my responsibilities?

- Be the EHS expert for guiding EHS tasks of ~18 operating companies: Incident Reporting and Investigation, Risk Evaluation, Safety Walk, Zero Harm Culture Program, Healthy @ Siemens Program, Siemens EEP Program，EHS regulations compliance, Audits, Siemens Reporting Systems, Best Practices share etc. 40% travel time.

- Carry out regular reports and action follow up: Monthly and Quarterly EHS reports, Monthly EHS laws and regulations brief, Monthly Lessons Learned, Annual EHS performance reports, related EHS communications (news, SSN, we-chat etc.).

- Plan and implement on site EHS activities: EHS audit, Risk Evaluation and Management, Inspection, review based on different requirements.

- Drive the significant accident emergency response on reporting, immediate action, root-cause analysis, action follow up for prevention.

- Deliver EHS topics trainings on planned: Siemens EHS Policy/Guides/Standards, EHS awareness, Zero Harm Culture, EHS techniques, LoDs and RoHS requirements, SESIS, Supplier EHS requirements etc.

- Be organizer for EHS council meeting for operating companies on meeting planning, logistical arrangement, meeting minutes and action follow up.

- Be active interface with Division/BU EHS, SRE EHS, and external parties for regular live-meetings, workshops etc.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Bachelor or Master Degree with engineering background. EHS related major preferred.

- 5~10 years working experiences. 3 years at corporate level experiences.

- EHS auditing, training, consulting experiences with ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 knowledge.

- Hands-on experiences for incident emergency response, such as minor injury, serious injury etc.

- Good communicator, presenter in Chinese and English. Good team player. Open-minded for new challenges.
