Job Title: Commodity Buyer
Reports To: Commodity Manager
Location: Shanghai
Business Unit: Roof Systems
Function: Supply Chain Management

Overview:
To improve roof supplier base to meet business growth and manage supplier performance with cost effectiveness, good quality and on time delivery. To work with related internal teams to continuously improve the overall supplier performance

Major Responsibilities:
1.Propose potential new suppliers and coordinate the related team to do formal supplier assessment.
2.Define commodity strategies in line with business needs and product line requirement.
3.Develop strategic suppliers to achieve commercial, quality and logistics targets.
4.Manage the measuring of supplier performance, and continuously improve supplier performance.
5.Nominate strategic suppliers for new business according to Inteva Purchasing Policy
6.Annual supplier contract review and cost reduction negotiation on entire supplier base.
7.Maintain MPV performance in MCPS system, and involve MPV program implementation.
8.Drive VA/VE activities with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and quality improvements.
9.Analyze the global market price and continuous benchmark of current suppliers. Monitor market dynamics and technology developments.
10.Develop and maintain systems and procedures to support the sourcing function.
11.Lead the early supplier involvement at early stage of PDP to achieve the best practice of cost and quality.
12.Support the quality and logistic team to solve the issue occurred during the daily operation, and achieve the annual operation target.
13.Cooperate with Inteva Global commodity teams to identify synergies across product lines.
14.Support to achieve new business sourcing process (RFQ, Benchmark, Negotiation and Supplier nomination) according to the responsible commodities and projects.

Education / Experience:
？1.Bachelor degree
？2.At least 3 years working experience with similar role in automotive parts industry; foreign investment company is preferable;
？3.Familiar with commodity of stamping, plastics etc.
？4.Familiar with APQP process
？5.Good communication skills both in Chinese and English (oral/writing)
？6.Team work spirit
？7.Proficiency in MS Windows, Office, ERP system;
