Job Summary
Lead business development activities and oversee client servicing for locations and observations projects to achieve financial objectives and to help clients answer:
- What locations offer the greatest opportunities and how to invest accordingly
- How to market and execute effectively in those locations

Financial Management
- Lead sales activities independently or in conjunction with senior staff
- Work independently and with related departments to develop pipeline of prospects, prepare and deliver winning service introductions and proposals, and negotiate and close project contracts
- Ensure proper pricing and completion of contracts according to company policies
- Build professional network internally and externally to support business development activities

People Management
- Facilitate professional development of direct reports through objective setting, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching
- Ensure recognition of effective work performance and utilize effective disciplinary actions when appropriate
- Communicate company policies and procedures and drive employee satisfaction through support of relevant organizational initiatives that build employee commitment

Client Servicing
- Maintain client profiles, project plans, and account plans
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with key client contacts and ensure adherence to approved company policies on business conduct / ethics when servicing clients
- Ensure services provided to clients meet project requirements in terms of content, timings, quality standards, and company service guidelines, and ensure implementation of the Value Delivery Process
- Conduct customized analysis and develop issue focused management briefs / presentations / reports
- Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations / reports, client planning meetings, and business reviews, and recommend new solutions to answer client business needs
- Expand relationships within client organizations by introducing broader capability applications beyond key contacts
- Ensure client queries are resolved efficiently and to client expectations

Functional / Technical
- Strengthen client service, project management, and advisory skills
- Establish expertise in location intelligence, in store, and retail research technologies and methodologies
- Perform value added analysis aimed at addressing specific business issues
- Ensure standard operating procedures within area of responsibility are observed and conduct quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy
- Recommend improvements in work processes within area of responsibility

Position Pre-Requisites
- BA / BS required (advanced quantitative degree desirable)
- Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
- Project management and client service experience
- Analytical skills and understanding of statistical modeling and business intelligence
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
- English proficiency
