·Contracting: Draft, negotiate and manage legal documentation (in English and Chinese) for a broad range of commercial transactions. Assist in the development of standardized processes and templates / precedents for the efficient delivery of legal services in the region.
·Training and compliance: Formulate and conduct preventive law training on a wide variety of topics, including contracting best practices, US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and equivalent anti-bribery laws, Code of Conduct.
·Litigation: Assist litigation cases and implement dispute resolution efforts and strategies.

The ideal candidate will have
·A bachelor or master degree from a reputable law school in PRC. Overseas education is a plus.
·A minimum of 1 year legal practice experience either in a law firm or in house.
·Personal presence, communications skills and credibility necessary to effectively interact with and influence senior management.
·Ability to work independently and aggressively drive key initiatives. Self-motivated, dedicated team player who will take a proactive approach in seeking to continuously improve internal legal function.
·Demonstrable record of providing clients with advice that blends legal experience with an understanding of, and appreciation for, a client's business objectives and different cultures and legal systems.
·Possesses good English and Mandarin language skills (oral and written).
·Integrity and good judgment are extremely important.
