This role is seeking enthusiastic individuals willing to work in a rewarding and exciting function as an AP Warranty Program Manager for IBM Mainframe System.
Employees in this role are in charge of monitoring overall service costs during the product warranty period. The monitoring activity will lead to the detection and correction of deviations while the control activity will aim at ensuring that product quality related costs conform to agreed plans.
Working with the Operation Life Cycle Manager (OLCM) of the concerned platform and the Domain Business Manager, the Cost Analyst is responsible for:
- the development of the warranty cost plan once a year
- the monitoring of actual warranty costs on a monthly basis (forecast)
- the update of planned costs with actuals
- Detecting, explaining, warranty cost deviations due to anticipated or non anticipated problems.
- Negotiating with STG and in conjunction with the OLCM the technical indices targets that will be inputted into the model of calculation and planning of the warranty costs.
- Preparing data and charts that will be presented to STG personnel during the warranty interlock meetings (monthly and quarterly)
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in Hardware Support Delivery
At least 2 years experience in Operations
Basic experience in Communication and Presentation Skills
Basic knowledge of Project Management techniques
Good knowledge of cost concepts and analysis
Knowledge of TSS infrastructure, organizations, business and relationships (for internal hiring)
Good written and oral communication skills
Demonstrates leadership
Sense of responsibility
Performs successful negotiations
English: Fluent
Preferred:
At least 3 years experience in Hardware Support Delivery
At least 3 years experience in Operations
At least 2 years experience in Communication and Presentation Skills
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Operations
