Global Graduate Trainee Programme - Operations
Essentra is a leading international, supplier of specialist plastic, fiber and packaging products listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The group is a well invested global business, headquartered in the UK, with 42 principle manufacturing facilities, 64 sales and distribution operations, and 5 research and development facilities spread across 29 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Join Essentra as an Operations Graduate on our Global Graduate Trainee Programme.
As an Operations Graduate you will help with the review of manufacturing sites, problem solving and reporting.
Your duties will include:
Reviewing and complying reports submitted by manufacturing sites into corporate and locally
Engaging various stakeholders though out network to improve business and customer outcomes
Identifying areas of concern through analysis and creating action plans
Actively participating and leading in improvement programs on site
Focusing on automation, process stability, reliability with action plans
The Graduate Trainee Programme is a two-year structured programme whilst undertaking a real job from day one.
While you learn our business, you will be developed and supported ensuring career progression. During the programme, you will train with graduates from across our international locations in a number of strategic, commercial, operational, financial and personal development areas.
You are given the opportunity to train in our key international locations and develop your network across the Group. From then on, we will expect you to drive your own career, to have a practical, hands-on approach and play a key role in our commitment to providing solutions through innovation.
ESSENTRA GRADUATE TRAINEES
Maintain full-time employment with Essentra
Learn about Essentra customers, products and processes
Travel to attend periodic week-long courses throughout Europe and the United States
REQUIREMENTS
Degree (1st or 2.1) – Engineering, Automation, Science, Manufacturing, Technology
Numerate & analytical approach.
Strong attention to detail.
Prioritisation skills
Problem solving
High level with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Strong written, and spoken English.
Interpersonal skills
Action oriented and results focused.
Willing to travel both domestically and internationally and eventually relocate as your career develops
