Main purpose of job:
(1) Leading the UV application research in water treatment as required by the market.
(2) Keeping close to the latest achievement of UV technology in the world and evaluate the potential for company from the technique side.
Key responsibilities:
UV Application RD:
1. Research on UV Dechlorination;
Theory for UV Dechlorination
Parameter to effect the performance of UV Dechlorination
Execute pilot plant test in customer site or laboratory
2. UV disinfection for different Micro organism;
Research on UV performance for different Micro Organism required by customers with the Collim beam test equipment.
Evaluation UV performance with Pilot plant test in customer site or laboratory
3. Evaluate other potential application of UV in water treatment;
Follow the latest research on UV technology in the world and evaluate the potential in water treatment industry from the technique side.
Provide advice to company for new product developing and new application developing.
4. Where required, to travel to customers’ sites throughout China to provide field based technical support.
5. Provide technical assistance to Hanovia China sales team colleagues.
6. Establish a network of 3rd party research centre who can contribute to our research when needed.
7. Maintain close links with Hanovia UK R&D team.
8. Maintain full technical records of all test both in the laboratory and in the customer site.
? Other duties:
9. Deliver some speech on UV technology and application in some professional seminar.
10. Issuing some professional paper in the International media or magazine alone or together with other 3rd party academic organisation
11. Any other reasonable duties as required.
Freedom of action
? You will be expected to take full ownership of the responsibilities above and use your initiative to operate independently and flexibly to achieve the required aims. In order to do this you will have full authority to take (with due regard to policies and requirements set by the company, the Technique Director, and your manager) all necessary decisions required to achieve this. This includes the authority to recommend and implement reasonable changes and improvements to systems and processes to enhance the effectiveness of your role and the sales department generally.

Main purpose of job:
(1) Leading the UV application research in water treatment as required by the market.
