Position: Marketing Manager-Strategic Pricing
Departments: International Marketing & Sales
Reporting Line: General Manager, Marketing
Subordinates: Marketing Analyst/ Supervisor/ Executive - Pricing
Subordinates: 3-4
Purpose:
? Evaluate market and competitive dynamics to recommend alternative pricing framework for International markets
? Define pricing objectives, strategies and schedule for price adjustments (increases and decreases)
? Centralize CM computation for price increase preparation using standardize templates support NA, EU and ROW regional sales managers during price increase
? Manage data repository for competitor sell-out pricing and price increase
Responsibilities:
1 Price list control and validation; 40%
2 Manage data repository for competitor sell-out pricing (Encircle) or retail market pricing and price increase implemented by competitors; 10%
3 Evaluate price increase not only from cost-plus perspective but also including considering strategic outlook on sell-out price positioning, capacity utilization, products portfolio-mix and market share; 10%
4 Define objectives, strategies and schedule for price adjustments (trigger from Finance and Executives); 10%
5 Evaluate challenges with International market standard pricing policies and recommend improvements; 10%
6 Centralize CM computation templates and analysis for key accounts, EU, NA & ROW; 10%
7 Define strategic decisions and pricing targets, guidelines for OEM customers. 10%
Qualification:
1. Bachelors & above, major in Business related certification
2. 8 years and above working experience with at least 2 years people management experience. Experience in pricing will be ideal.
3. Tire background and knowledge, familiar with ERP system, pricing methodologies etc.
4. Exhibit profound understanding on tire markets, possess good judgment, people management skills.
5. Upright, honest, mature, open-minded, self-confident; high degree of enthusiasm, good team spirit; strong observation and response capabilities.
6. Fluent in English.
