职位描述

Objectives of the job:

Ensure the efficient and cost effective operations of Changxing plant.

-The production of consistent quality products suitable for the customers'needs.

-Continual improvement in production process and efficiencies

-Reliable and sustainable plant operations with minimal maintenance issues

- Timely delivery of finished products to customers

-Timely delivery of all projects within budget and project scope

-Ensure safe operations and adopt best operating practice in relevance to standard regulatory

- SEQ compliance


Performance Measurement:

-Production quantity to meet marketing dept's demand.

-Consistent product quality and timely delivery to customers.

-Production/maintenance costs within budget.

-SEQ compliance.

-Capacity utilization.

-Process improvement.


Administrative:

- Approve/Disapprove/plan operation and maintenance staff leaves.

-Identify training needs and suggest training programme for operation and maintenance staff


Operational:

-To manage,direct and supervise the production,packaging plant,warehousing,quality control and deliveries of product for the manufacturing process of GCC powder

-To regulate and coordinate functions of office with shop floor by introducing efficient and safe production methods with reference from recognized codes,standards or the group.

-Initiate and direct procedures to increase company output and customer satisfaction.

-Maintain process plant to guarantee minimum 90% operating efficiency,implement schedule and routine maintenance by communicating and transferring knowledge and operating practice from engineering support to production team for improvements and reduction of bottlenecks.

-Develop work measurement procedures to promote efficient and economical utilization of personnel and facilities.

-Secure and maintain minimum stocks,from consumables through to finished goods,in order to avoid any unforeseen disruption to ongoing business activities (raw material,consumable purchasing,inventory,spare-part management,etc)

-Administer yield and plant's operations efficiency in monthly production report by conducting monthly or daily stock-take and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

-Ensure timely & correct communication between Sales and Operations in order to ensure that customer needs are delivered on time (daily and weekly production & maintenance planning, outbound logistics...).

-Co-ordinate,implement and document all process improvements to ensure a consistent quality of products and to optimize production efficiency.

-Establish quality management procedures and ensure all processes produce consistent products within controlled specifications.

-To ensure all raw materials are within specifications before it is used for production

-Assume responsibility for SEQ compliance (mandatory & Omya Corporate policies),ensuring that measures are consistent with Omya policies.

-Manage with open communication and ensure timely and accurate reporting


Excluded Responsibilities:

-Global & Regional Standards/Methods/Guidelines re any Engineering,Design or Operational matter.


Education / experiences/skills/competencies required

-Tertiary education/qualification with technical component (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical engineering)

-Various in house and external training modules (manufacturing, management...)

-Extensive experience in manufacturing and in a key management role position for a similar business/industry (6 to 8 years min.)

-Ability to find solutions and achieve objectives and drive to completion

-Ability or experience to manage projects and motivate operations team

-Ability to combine big picture with detail required to progress

-Excellent organizational and planning skill

-High level communication skills

-Proactive problem solver

-Persistence is a must

-Self motivator

- English ability:can communicate in general case,can read document and write email.
