KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
MISSION
1.The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnership with key and strategic customers / identified as’ Key Accounts’.
2.The KAM will focus on driving Pfeiffer Vacuum opportunities within all global sites, subsidiaries, and partners of the key account(s).
3.The KAM will own these accounts, constantly ensuring our company value is aligned with their needs.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Understands the needs of the key account(s) including service requirements, works with global Pfeiffer Vacuum market organization team to address those needs, and identifies any gaps or issues with our existing products, services and processes
2.Identifies potentials for business opportunities, understands the key account dynamics and trends, market trends, business environment and our competition at the key account(s).
3.leads and defines appropriate actions for key account development
4.Is responsible for preserving current business within these key account(s) and develops additional opportunities (as relationships grow)
5.Develops strategic account short-, mid- and long termplans for each assigned account, considering all aspects (e.g. – decision making, motivation, needs, growth plans, etc.).
6.Monitors the execution and progress of these plans and summarizesstatus to market management and regional management
7.Acts as single point of contact for all customer related matters, coordinates all internal resources accordingly and finds the best way to bring the right persons together to address the needs of the key account(s) and for our business
8.Works across geographic lines ensuring harmonized treatment of the key account(s) in all regions together with corporate market management organizations
9.Creates and builds strong relationships with the representatives, develops a close interaction with the key departments and managers, understands the disciplines and organization set-up of the key account(s)
10.Is overall responsible to fulfill the company’s standards, policies, proceduresand practices for the key account(s)
11.Achieves the targeted business results within the key account(s)
12.Is responsible for all product and service pricingand contractual issues for the key account(s)
13.The reporting line of the Key Account Manager depends on the country specific and geographical set-up
QUALIFICATIONS
1.Strong experience in Semiconductor industry is required
2.Experience in vacuum technology or capital equipment business is plus
3.Proven sales experience 5 years is an advantage
4.Technical background combined with business administration degree is an advantage
5.Passionate customer focused “can-do“ attitude
6.Ability to understand and communicate demanding technical challenges
7.Proven successfulleadership skills
8.Proven successful negotiation skills
9.Ability to develop ideas and draw strategic conclusions
10.Excellent communication and networking skills

13.Speaking the language of the customer (hereChinese) and English fluently
