SUMMARY
Accountable for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes utilizing lean manufacturing and defect reduction concepts. Hands on process knowledge with responsibilities for root cause corrective action on all processes and work instruction related issues. Creation of new manufacturing process and modification of existing manufacturing processes to suit business needs. Also manages all manufacturing engineering documents and ensures document control. Responsible for new project transfers and management.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Creation of new manufacturing processes and modification of existing manufacturing processes to suit business needs, also validate all manufacturing related process & work instructions.
? Understanding of progressive dies with ability to service and troubleshoot problems.
? Leads team in problem solving machine/tool downtime. Presents and reviews results to management and team.
? Responsible for Auditing of all manufacturing processes to ensure correct execution of operating instructions by operators.
? Manages projects for product and/or process improvements.
? Creates and documents standard work instructions and visual aids in line with lean manufacturing principles.
? Assist in any corrective action team for manufacturing processes, quality, trouble shooting, 5S, Safety issues etc.
? Assist the value stream manager to routinely review production to assess capacity and growth potential
? Utilizes Kaizen/lean manufacturing to improve production efficiency
? Responsible for engineering document control management.
? Responsible for creation of new manufacturing engineering related processes.
? Provides technical support to production, quality and sourcing departments
? Responsible for new project transfers from other business units
? Prepare all required reports for management team review
? Complies with Environmental, Safety, and Hazardous Communication requirements.
? Completes all other duties as assigned by value stream manager.
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

1. 5年以上工作经验，3年以上机加工相关经验
2. 有冲压工艺相关经验
3. 熟悉BOM编写
4. 有操作工培训经验
5. 熟悉机加工设备，能进行设备维护
Technical
? Strong mechanical background with experience in metal forming and power press operations
? Hands on approach to machine fault finding
? Strong project management skills and ability to lead a team
? Experience in lean manufacturing with ability to implement new ideas.
? Experience in process/machine trouble shooting
? Ability to learn specialized sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Human Relations
? Works well in a team environment
? Very honest
? Strong independent thinking and initiative
? Good communication skills
? Ability to train operators in machine operation and basic machine maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Educational
? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and/or similar discipline.
Professional
? 3-5 years demonstrated manufacturing engineering experience in manufacturing
? 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in project management
? Six Sigma experience a plus.
? Ability to speak, listen, write and read English proficiently
? Can use MS office such as Excel, Word etc.
