Responsibilities:
Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities:
The HR Manager is responsible for leading the organization in developing a winning strategy for site Human Resources Management. This will be accomplished through the adoption of AkzoNobel OneHR and A&AC HR systems, policies, practices and processes at Site including staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, and employee relationship management.
? Represent the HR function on the Site Leadership Team and develop HR working plans with direct linkages to site strategic plan.
? Deploy and implement OneHR system and A&AC HR policies, programs, and initiatives at site level, including leadership talent review (LTR), employee satisfaction survey (Viewpoint Survey), reward and recognition program, and etc.
? Partner with site leadership team to assess, select, develop and retain talent at various levels of the organization.
? Drive continuous site operational improvement through effective performance management (P&DD) and employee individual development plans.
? Direct the training and organizational development activities for the site through an effective training needs analysis and the establishment of an annual plan for employee growth;
? Develop and maintain positive employee relations to create an exceptional work environment and culture for employees.
? Manage the data integrity of the Human Resources information Systems and ensure all HR data is accurate and up to date.
? Champion HR category in the site operation excellence program and HSE program.
? Promote AkzoNobel's corporate image and employer value proposition by participating in community activities and charitable events in the local community.
Requirements:
Requirements for Job:
? University degree with more than 8 years of relevant working experience in multinational companies under a manufacturing environment, which includes at least 4 years in supervisory capacity;
? Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable to dealing with people all over the organization;
? Able to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects, relationships and leverage diversity in a global enterprise;
? Sound understanding of China labor law, and versed knowledge of Changzhou local regulation and employment dynamic will be a plus;
? High sense of integrity and lead by example;
? Advocate of AkzoNobel values and employer value proposition in the local community.
Additional Information:
Note: based on the sites expansion plan, the HR manager will have up to 4 subordinates. In the initial stage, the direct subordinates are 2.
