Responsibilities:
Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities (kindly limit to a maximum of eight)
？ Plan and organize manufacturing programs in accordance with approved production or supply plan whilst maintaining plant efficiency.
？ Set operations best practices (in line with TRACC guidelines), planning and managing resources to achieve optimum quality, cost and services.
？ Monitor and account for :
o Production expenses
o Production overtime
？ Ensure all team members activities fully align with AkzoNobel code of conduct, local compliances, HSES policies
？ Ensure all processes comply with SOP, Process Bluebook guidelines & quality management system ie ISO 9001, 14000, 18000 etc to achieve the required quality standard and operational excellences
？ Responsible for daily operations of the production plant and ensure all key KPIs are met ie Productivity, On Time In Full, Cycle Time, Production Unit Cost, TRR, OEE, Total waste etc.
？ Initiate continuous improvement programs in plant efficiency such as yield , energy consumption and waste reduction etc
？ Motivate, train, coach operational personnel and take staff engagement as key source of competitive advantage
Requirements:
Requirements for Job (education or experience required to be able to perform this job):
？ Bachelor degree major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer
？ At least 3 years production shop floor working experience in chemical industry, coatings is preferred.
？ Initiative, self-motivation, strong leadership and good team working skills
？ Excellent communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels
？ Good RCA trouble shooting skills, people management and able to resolve conflicts
？ Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement project will be added advantage
？ Good English skill in reading, writing and speaking
？ PC Skills (Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

No of the Direct Reports: 4
No of the Indirect Reports: 48
