Mission
？ Describe the principal mission of the position

？ Administrative management of the PG Intellectual Property matters

Responsibilities
？ Highlight the main responsibilities

？ Preparation of the files for filing patent applications everywhere in the world, including European and International (PCT) patent applications.
？ Administrative follow-up of these files including the management of deadlines for filing documents, responses and requests to the relevant Intellectual Property Offices.
？ Management of the internal Patent Database, including:
o Collecting, verifying and recording any relevant data regarding BG’s patents, design, …;
o Checking whether the effect of each data capture is correct, particularly as regards generated deadlines (for paying annual maintenance fees, requesting examination, …);
o Recording invoices and payments for budget follow-up.
？ Management of the invoices for payment, of the deposit accounts within some IP Offices.
？ Filing and storage of the IP files and documents.
？ Patent Bonus management.

Today 3 R&D teams work in this platforms, which are Valeo Electric Engine System China Technical Center (VEES CTC), Valeo Engine Cooling China Technical Center(VEC CTC) and Valeo Wipper System Asia Technical Center(VWS ATC).

The Technical Center is aimed to develop technical competences for Asian businesses and to satisfy our customer requirements in a fast changing environment. Developed initially as a subcontracted design platform, the Technical Center has been evolving to a complete product and project development center as following :
- Complexity increase and new needs definition such as environment and security
- OEM support for Chinese customers and for oversea businesses
- Sustainable development
- Support specific cars for emerging market in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China)
