POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Sales Manager, China
LOCATION: Wuxi, China

Reporting Relationship
President/CEO


Primary Purpose of Position
This section provides a general overview of the primary role/function for this specific position:

This position will be responsible for planning and executing all Sales activities in the domestic China market. The Sales Manager will staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership to achieve maximum revenue following the Company's strategic direction. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base through focused direct and dealer sales networks; provides ongoing sales training to assure account executives are successful. Oversees the customer service function to assure high levels of customer satisfaction are met. Manages and monitors dealer activity, taking full responsibility for assuring dealers meet or exceed forecast.



Duties and Responsibilities
This section summarizes the major essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position:

? Develops yearly business plan and sales strategy for the domestic market in China that ensures meeting sales goals and profitability.
? Develops the dealer network for coverage of key sales areas in China.

? Oversees dealers' activities, assuring compliance with TPOs image and brand.

? Develops and manages dealer sales quotas; recommends disciplinary action for non-performing dealers.

? Develops private clinic sales strategy and plan.

? Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Executives and Customer Service staff.
? Prepares action plans for each individual and team to coordinate the effective search of sales accounts and prospects.
? Assists in the development, implementation and enforcement of sales policies and procedures. Included but not limited to: daily activity requirements, use of CRM, travel policy.
? Conducts periodic (weekly) one-on-one reviews with all Account Executives to build effective communication, understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of the Account Executive's sales performance.
? Provides timely feedback to GM and HR manager regarding performance issues.
? Represents TP China at various meetings and trade shows.

? Maintains ongoing knowledge of competition and advises management of new developments in the market.
? Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
? Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
?Provides timely, accurate sales reports when required.




Internal/External Cooperation:
? Insures that all Account Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for calls, appointments, presentations, and dealer activity.
? Provides timely reports and market information to GM
? Sets example for Account Executives in areas of personal character.





Knowledge and Skill
This section describes any specialized knowledge or skill required to perform the essential functions of this position (Include equipment used, computers, formal education and/or minimum experience requirements, required certification and so on):



· Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.

· 10+ years of sales experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.

· Prior leadership experience in Sales Development, Marketing, Operations within the Asia Pacific market.

· Sales and Presentation Techniques.
Channel development skills.
Ability to lead a diverse team and manage their day to day activities .
Dental products and techniques preferred.



Software knowledge required for this position:

?Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

? CRM experience; Sugar a plus
