Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Prepare concise and detailed test strategies, test plans, and test reports
2.Conduct verification (and reliability) testing on components and subsystems
3.Direct the work of laboratory technicians
4.Prioritizing and completing test projects to meet deadlines
5.Diagnose issues with the laboratories vast and varying test equipments
6.Diagnose issues in the laboratory where the product under test may not be performing as expected
7.Knowledge on preparing, installing, and teardown of units for testing
8.Operation of test stations/equipments, log results, analyze data, and diagnose problems
9.Providing design input to improve product performance or reliability when necessary
10.nteracting with a variety of individuals and teams to communicate results
11.Assist in developing overall project plans and drive deliverables on time and within budget
12.Supervise laboratory staff
13.Work as part of global lab team, ensuring process, best practice, and test development standardization

Desired Skills and Experience
1.Demonstrated extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems and it's components
2.Demonstrated extensive knowledge of electrical systems, 24v through 480v
3.Demonstrated knowledge of heat transfer, air performance, and electric motors/components including technical discipline for testing
4.Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment
5.Capable of functioning effectively in a team environment
6.Demonstrated problem solving skills
7.Experience with Six Sigma tools including DFSS and DMAIC
8.Ability to organize and manage concurrent activities
9.Supervisory experience of multiple direct reports
10.Proficient in MS Excel and Word
11.Experience with various test software such as National Instruments Lab VIEW
12.Knowledge/experience with national and international standards such as UL, Eurovent, etc would be an advantage
