To successfully coordinate and provide technical solutions to product groups, while meeting the requirements of the internal or external customer, as well as meeting time, budget and quality standard.
Primary accountabilities of this position include but not limited to provide technical service and solutions to customers including any or all of the following: detailing, checking, releasing as well as design. The position needs collaboration with the worldwide technical service teams.
The engineer must manage his/her own development, continuously learning through experience and staying abreast of technology. Key learning should be rounded out during this tenure including knowledge of understanding of customers' needs, working knowledge of key processes like CPPD and NPI, etc.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors or equivalent degree in engineering with more than 4 years of design experience, preferably in earthmoving or automotive industry .
Experience in design engineering software such as solid modeling software (Pro/E preferred), product data management software (Teamcenter Engineering preferred), etc.
Self-starter (initiative and sense of urgency in work)
Good stress tolerance (ability to work efficiently / effectively in stressful situations)
Good people / interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus
Task management skills (multiple tasks & priorities)
Analytical (troubleshooting and analysis) skills
Ability to learn quickly and retain pertinent information
Ability to concisely and accurately communicate technical information
Fluent in English
