Job Description:

1. This incumbent will work in E&SI-China Division L1/L3 Components section to develop electric sensor/sender components product lines in China or other Asia countries for Cat heavy-duty machine products.

2. The incumbent is expected to deliver electric sensor/sender components specification development, hardware design, components test and validation, supplier development with GP, APQP/PPAP, and technical support to other teams.

3. The incumbent is expected to deliver qualified sensor/sender components to internal customers on quality, on cost and on schedule.

4. The incumbent will also actively work with his team member to develop low cost sensor/sender components product lines and supplier base, and manage the whole New Product Introduction projects and Continuous Product Improvement projects.

5. The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer focus on customer requirements as well as new technologies, products, manufacturing & assembly processes/methods.

Required Qualifications:

1. BS/MS in Electric & Mechanical Engineering or related engineering majors.
2. More than 3 years experience on sensor/sender or similar electric product design, development and test engineering.
3. Ability to effectively communicate in English in work environment (CET-IV at least).
4. Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal, teamwork skills.
5. Ability to conduct multiple projects concurrently.
6. Familiar with engineering tools, like ProE.

Desireable Qualifications:

1. Manufacturing and/or assembly experience related to heavy-duty machines;
2. Purchasing, sourcing or development experience with suppliers.
