职位描述：
EXPERIENCE:
? Proven capability of identifying cost reduction opportunities and delivering to plan through benchmarking, “Should-Cost” analysis, and steel price index utilization.
? Experience in managing suppliers relationships including pricing and negotiations.
? Experience in managing cost reduction projects which included working with cross functional teams including engineering and manufacturing.
? Recognized as the expert for metal or mechanical commodity primarily in China, experience in other Asian regions a plus.
? Familiar with plastic machine industry is a plus.
? Deeply knowledge about the machining business, casting machining, metal components, fabrication, gear box, forging etc…working process and technical judgments.
? 5 years’ experience of manufacturing business.
? A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
? Process and results driven with the ability to support development/execution of commodity strategies in a low volume, high product mix environment.
? Develop cost models and understanding cost drivers of commodities. Negotiate price with suppliers and strive to achieve competitive sourcing through supplier selection or supplier management which results meeting the corporate financial requirements/goals.
? Ability to research, understand and utilize commodity market tools (i.e. online) in the efforts to support supply chain strategies.
? Capability of understanding engineering drawings and ability to determine metal and machining costs.
? Proactively identify potential risks for commodities and develop/ execute strategies to mitigate the risks.
? Ability to travel (30%) is required.

EDUCATION and SKILLS:
? BS or BA degree from an accredited 4 year college or university in a technical or supply chain related discipline.
? Proficient in MS Office, Advanced skills in Excel a plus. 举报 分享
