职位描述
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Purchasing
a) Responsible for running the inventory ordering planning engines (MRP, SIC) to determine materials and supplies required as requested. Creates and adjusts purchase orders for supply needs to match manufacturing requirements.
b) Schedules material orders for Handrail Company to meet manufacturing requirements and minimize inventory level.
c) Schedules material orders for partial roller to meet manufacturing requirements and minimize inventory level.
d) Schedules factory supplies orders to meet manufacturing requirements and minimize inventory level.
e) Expedites orders, when required, to ensure goods arrive on time.
f) Maintain approved purchasing price in system.
g) Baan maintenance of items for the Purchasing Department.
h) Backup for senior buyer

2. Reports
a) Submits a monthly Activity Report detailing departmental opportunities, goals and objectives reached.
b) Maintains relative ST Charts.
3. Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
a) Maintains a safe and healthy environment by following EHC Health & Safety policies and procedures and complying with current Health & Safety legislation.
b) Follows EHC's Environmental policies and procedures to reduce impacts to the environment.
c) Maintains quality service by following EHC standards and ISO procedures
4. Confidentiality
a) Follows the EHC Knowledge Management procedures, sets and ensures access limits to certain users.
b) Safeguards all the EHC commercial information.
5. Special Projects
a) Responds to internal and external customer requests for assistance with special projects relating to the Purchasing functions within the Corporation as required.
6. Professional & Technology Knowledge
a) Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
b) Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets
7. Team Work
a) Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
Completion of college education is required.
Has worked in a purchasing dep't for one to three years for a manufacturing company having the responsibility for material planning and purchasing.
Organisational & coordinating skills required.
Must be fluent in Mandarin, and capable of reading and writing English in a business environment.
Ability to use Microsoft Office in a business setting, specifically in Excel and Word is required.
Is able to demonstrate hands-on experience with scheduling orders and minimising inventory using an ERP system in a fast-paced environment is required. Baan experience would be considered an asset.
Experience with Traffic and scheduling functions would be considered an asset.
