职位描述：
BioMar is looking for an aquaculture specialist with a good technical profile. The right profile will be an asset to introduce BioMar’s feed products to the Chinese aquaculture market under BioMar’s Joint Venture operations with Tongwei.

The Job
with a reference to the Technical Manager be a part of the technical team for BioMar’snew China operations. You will work closely with our sales and marketing team, providing technical support and customer support. Among the key responsibilities you will find:

- Liaison with our current toll milling partner
- Coordinating and running feed trials
- Visits to farmers with S&M staff / communication of technical information
- Training of S&M staff on product technical data

Today the JV technical department consists of 2 employees who are placed in Chengdu, Sichuan, PRC. The team has the responsibility for feed formulation, raw material evaluation, quality control of finished product and technical backstopping for the S&M team. JV feeds are currently being toll milled and marketed in the Sichuan region. Construction of a new feed mill will begin in Wuxi, Jiangsu before the end of the year. Other regions will be targeted for JV products for marine and cold water species.

The Candidate
As a person we expect you to able to work independently and in a variety of conditions: trials stations, farms, etcetera. You can communicate with ease withcolleagues, stakeholders and customers. Your loyalty and persistence will be an asset to the JV in gaining market share with our innovative products.
 
You will probably have at least 2-5 years’ experience in aquaculture production or research. You will have auniversity education, bachelor’s degree or higher, in aquaculture or animal sciences. You will be required to be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Your workplace will initially be at our office in Chengdu, Sichuan, PRC. Travel within China and possibly internationally will be required. Eventual relocation within China will depend on development of the JV business activities in other regions. 举报 分享
