Job Title: Senior Sourcing

Department: Supply Chain Department

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Purpose of the Job

Source goods in compliance with specification and quality and delivery requirements and minimize risk of supplies at lowest total cost, ensure availability of capacity.

Responsibilities

? Supplier sourcing; Identify; Evaluate and selection

? Supply agreements negotiation ensuring cost-optimized, efficient and timely supply of goods meeting defined quality and service requirements for the business

? Initiate supplier qualification and coordinate supplier audit activity

? Supporting global sourcing and negotiation

Accountabilities

? Define the sourcing strategy for the allocated commodities/products on a local basis

? Identify, evaluate and select suppliers

? Understand relevant supply markets

? Define supplier portfolio

? Initiate supplier qualification

? Manage the business relationship with suppliers

? Negotiate, sign (according DOA) and apply supply agreements

? Manage supplier relationship (performance follow-up, risk management, claims & contract management)

? Manage supply base related to prices, terms, rules, version changes, etc.

? Define purchase order allocation

? Leading materials validation for projects

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements

? Engineering or Technical degree

? Good written & verbal communication skill (English)

Knowledge and Experience

? Min 5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing technical goods

? Experience in dealing and negotiation with suppliers.

? Global supplier base knowledge

Technical Skills:

? Materials marketing

? Engineering drawing

? Manufacturing Process knowledge

? Negotiation skills about bidding

? Familiar with ERP system
