Job Description,
1. Responsible for supply chain planning from wafer loading to finished goods shipment.
2. Lead the planning team to formulate and execute production plans to ensure optimum raw material and finished goods management.
3. Work with sales team to effectively manage supply and demand issues.
4. Work with RD team to ensure smooth transition to mass production during new product introduction (NPI).
5. Manage production planning and scheduling to meet forecasts and customer demands. Make decisions to confirm or defer production orders based on current inventory, demand, capacity, and material availability.
6. Ensure accuracy of production schedules. Optimize production and schedule between internal factory and external subcontractors.
7. Analyze and determine material requirement.
8. Review work in progress to ensure optimum inventory level, and provide sufficient flexibility to cater for changing sales orders.
9. Identify approaches to improve forecast accuracy, and take responsibility for the implementation of these plans.
10. Provide quick response and accurate confirmation on production lead time.
11. Work out weekly/monthly/quarterly shipping and inventory reports.
12. Coordinate with other departments to resolve production issues and provide assessment to sales team on the impact to shipment.
Job Requirement,
1. Bachelors Degree, with above 8 years of working experience in semiconductor production planning. Experience with subcontractor management will be preferred.
2. Advanced skills in Excel, Access and ERP experience such as Oracle, SAP etc.
3. Strong statistical analysis capability and electronic data management skills to perform various analysis.
4. Good communication skills in oral and written English.
5. A team player with strong sense of urgency, proven leadership with good people skills and the ability to work in an intense, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
