Sandvik in Wuxi is seeking for a Process Engineer

The position would directly report to R&D Manager, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance areas:

·Production process optimizes.

·Abide by the work arrangements by engineering manager, complete the goal and task of the present position posts task in time.

·Optimize and improving the production processes to continuous improvement at the scene and enhance product quality, resolve the issue which is exceptional in production, saving manufacturing costs, reducing production costs, etc.

·Familiar with Pro-E, Auto Cad;

·Optimize and improve equipment operating system to enhance the utilization of capacity of equipment.

·Create the production report to provide the statistical analysis, create and improve the standard of product technical file such as the standard of machine operation, quality inspection standard.

·Strengthen safety management in special domain, such as production safety, labor protection, environmental protection, support the training of workers.

·To participate in and work towards existing projects to develop new processes to provide the next generation of products.

·To ensure the continuity of the existing production processes and the enhancement of output beyond existing levels. Including improvement in delivery accuracy, reduction in lead times and increase productivity whilst ensuring that all equipment and processes meet all current and future EHS legislation.

·To assist in and design, specify, procure and test new production equipment, tools, jigs and fixtures.

·The production of technical reports on all facets of the job holder’s activities for record, reference and recommendation of future actions.

·To initiate and deliver projects on time within a specified budget whilst meeting all agreed criteria within the scope of the project.

·Monitoring and intervention of production needs, to use the specific skills of the jobholder, to resolve potential problems often before they arise. To analyze, often using modern computer software, the existing production processes and work flows and to propose and investigate differing and less time consuming and costly alternatives.

·The introduction of new or improved equipment or processes require detailed operating and training directives to be issued and driven through the organization by the job holder.

·Reports technical work quickly and accurately by written reports, E-mail, telephone conversations and to meetings.

·Responsible for Movex system maintain, create new product structure, check reporting information and correct wrong input.

·Write working instructions for production

Your profile:

·Bachelor or Master degree,

·With Mechanical or Powder Metallurgy or Metal Materials background.

·Minimum 3 years-experience as process engineer or related position at industrial company.

·Good leadership, problem-solving, negotiation and persuasion skills

·Good communicative and organizational skills

·Mastery of English language (reading, speaking & writing)

As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
