Sandvik in Wuxi is seeking for a Production Supervisor

The position would directly report to Production Manager, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance areas:

· To ensure the execution of production plans in full compliance with the forecast constraints (EHS, quality, output, delivery times, production efficiency, scrap rate etc.) and optimize the available resources.

· Assist production manager to formulate job objective, procedure and standard, execute company and group policy, law, regulation and so on.

· Make sure operators compliance with the company policy and work discipline.

· Recruit new workers and training them to make sure they are qualified to related job.

· Write and update production Work Instruction/SOP and make sure operators following work instructions & SOP in daily routine work.

· On site problem solving, include technical problem, non-conformity parts handling; resolve the issue which is exceptional in production;

· Strengthen EHS management in workshop, such as production safety, labour protection, and environmental protection, support the training of workers; and daily check EHS status in workshop.

· Monitor consumable material stock and monthly usage, and purchase on time and monitoring the usage and try to reduce consumption;

· Continuous improve production efficiency and product quality, saving manufacturing costs, reducing production costs, implement 5S/Lean activities etc.

· Daily checking Movex reporting status, correct those which reported wrong.

· Make sure operator doing the daily maintenance of the equipment and improve equipment utilization;

· Prepare weekly/monthly production report and do gap analyse base on KPI deviation.

Your profile:

· Bachelor degree, university education or above, major in Engineering, Business or related specialty.

· More than 5 years’ work experience and at least 2 years practice as production supervisor level.

· 5S&6-sigma experience in foreign invested manufacturing factory is a plus.

· Good at English of writing and speaking, be able to use English in daily communication

· Familiar with MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and Windows7

· Team work and good communication competence

· Strong self-learning and ownership spirit

· Drive result through people

As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
