1. Direct and monitor facility and ESH personnel to ensure ITT Corporate ESH&S standards and China national and local regulatory compliance.
2. Communicate with ESH regulatory authorities.
3. Direct ESH standards, policies, and practices relating to safe use of chemicals, hazardous materials storage, hazardous waste management, environmental quotas, air emission control devices, waste water treatment systems.
4. Develop plan, lead organization and set-up appropriate actions, and team to ensure strategic vision for ITT MT Wuxi is executed
5. Ensure that Wuxi site follows and implement best in class practices pertaining to ESHS and IH
6. Recruit, develop and retain top performing ESHS team of experts on site
7. Ensure ESH incidents are investigated with root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions are reported in the ITT metrics system (AIMS).
8. Ensure ESH compliance assessments, audits and regulatory permit management in the iEHS system.
9. Ensure ESH training is completed for staff and line employees
10. Ensure employees are provided and utilize all required personal protective equipment
11. Complete ergonomic and job hazard analysis, and ensure employees understand and observe safe work rules. Identify common safety/health/environmental/security hazards inherent within organizational operations and establish guidelines to protect from these hazards.
12. Ensure completion of pre shift safety inspections.
13. Ensure contractors and outside vendors understand, respect and observe ITT safety, environment and health, and security regulations
14. Ensure machines and equipment are properly guarded
15. Ensure energy control (lockout/tag out) procedures are implemented for maintenance and repair of machines and equipment
16. Ensure all safety equipment, including fire sprinkler systems, are operational all the times;
17. Prepare and manage annual ESH&S budget to achieve corporate target.
18. Lead or participate in various types of ESH compliance and/or management system audits to ensure compliance with local, national and corporate requirements
19. Provide support and expertise to other ITT sites globally on ESHS and IH matters
20. As a member of the local leadership team, the candidate shall actively support the implementation of the culture shaping initiative that ITT has launched globally
21. All other relevant duties as assigned by management.

1. Bachelor degree or above is necessary with major in ESH or related areas;
2. Overseas experience preferred;
3. At least 5 yrs in ESH or equivalent working experiences with updated relevant certifications;
4. Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking);
5. Team work oriented, proactive, good interpersonal skill and mature of character, leadership sense and ability.
6. Experience and exposure to US culture and ESH practices
