When you work at Caterpillar as a Manufacturing Engineer you will provide the technical expertise necessary to design, develop, and implement manufacturing systems, complex manufacturing operations and sophisticated machines. You will be a subject matter expert for facility employees relative to the technical phase of the planning function.


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

This is a staff position which is expected to function as a specialist with respect to a De-snag or project engine of the planning function and engine building process in physical, programming audit, assembly processing, layout, work standards and manufacturing development.
Work assignments may be specialized in nature but may also be broad based with coordination between PIT team to complete De-snag process.
Deep understand product and process to ensure mass production run smoothly in the future by proactively taking actions on planning and physical problem solving case by case in shop floor.
In planning phase, he or she needs to review RUR working plan and actual work contents with process planner to ensure Manufacturing engineering internal process work properly.
To support physical engine fitting trials on new options or key parts in order to detect or find early defect before engine goes to main line.
To raise PCN or PPRD for the defects found in De-snag process on process issues or product issues.
To find root cause with ME team to drive PCA by using RCCA process.
Work closely with Engineering, NPI and PIT team to proactively get De-snag or project engine information and get involved in early design.
To provide guidance on project engine or De-snag engine assembly process to Engineering & Operator.
This position encompasses planning, tooling, maintenance, plant engineering, releasing, machine shop, assembly, etc. wherever a specific technical assignment may be needed.


Basic Requirement:

1. ME Experience from Engine manufacturing industry;
2. At least 3 years relative experience of Engine ME.
3. Speak Good English and good Communication skill;
