Responsibilities:

1. Complete detailed product designs that achieve agreed specifications, performance, cost, quality and timing
2. Interpreting and creating engineering drawings.
3. Play an active role in project design teams and participate in design reviews
4. Demonstrate cost appreciation in regard to design and manufacturing constraints.
5. Investigate new drafting techniques and drafting equipment and recommend changes to standard practices.
6. Other works assigned by the manager

Qualifications:
1.At least diploma in Mechanical/Design Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting
2.Desirable: Bachelor in Engineering/Industrial Design
3.Desirable: CAD training course

Experience:
1.3 years experience in a similar role
2.2 - 3 years experience in a CAD (either - Uni graphics, Catia, Ideas)
3.Preferred Automotive and/or Aerospace industry experience
4.Proven customer service orientation - including and issue resolution
5.Experience in dealing with and engineering for manufacturing environments
6.Proven delivery within a product lifecycle, achieving key milestones

Skills & Knowledge:
1.Working CAD knowledge
2.Desirable: PDM knowledge
3.Working knowledge of NX3 (Unigraphics), Ideas, CATA V5
4.Intermediate computer skills with MS Office Suite
5.Knowledge of design processes (DFMEA, DVP&R etc)
6.Effective written and verbal communication skills
