One acclaimed foreign company is looking for an experienced material director to develop its business in China with an attractive salary packages and long term career development in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• lead the teams in purchasing, planning functions to support supply chain and production
• work closely with local and global team on quarterly contract pricing and suppliers allocation
• work with program management on supply chain issues to meet customer delivery requests
• ensure MRP execution, cancellation and reschedule
• ensure purchasing team comply and uphold standard, company requirements, and purchasing procedures
• work with regional supply management on critical shortages
• drive and lead the material team to comply to the standard purchasing operating procedure and manage the purchasing cost effectively

Key Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Logistics discipline
• above ten years' Supply Chain management experience in a metrics driven environment, including over five years' experience in managerial position
• be responsible for purchasing and material planning for EMS/Electronics manufacturing
• program management skills
• demonstrated ability of cost reduction
• proficiency in negotiation and organization skills
• proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
• excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the sites and company to achieve objectives
• ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines under pressure
• ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements
• must be a team leader and highly motivated
