岗位：Tool/Mould Purchasing Engineer 人数：1

Responsibility:

Ø Moulds management tasks



ü Shall have the internal “ownership” all tools and moulds in the company. For this the individual shall keep complete records of the tools regardless of the location of the tool. They may be in-house or at supplier side. The data base shall include, but not limited to, the following:

² Part No. &description

² Manufacturing &acceptance date

² Moulds drawings archive

² Maintenance plan /schedule

² Guaranteed lifetime indicated in the contract

² Record the shots qty already implemented (logbook)

² Record each time the maintenance /repair



ü The using unit shall apply to use the tool and shall report immediately after usage including records of maintenance.

ü The individual shall be responsibly for ensuring that tools are maintained and in working condition, have clear view on when tools are to be re-tooled etc.

ü Test equipment and other equipment may be included in the area of responsibility.

ü Shall manage also de-commissioned tools that shall be stored or scraped!

ü Coordinate the internal activity of in-house trial run of the newly developed /accepted moulds;

ü Champion the activity of verifying the mould maintenance /repair application via an on-site checking;

ü Lead the activity of verifying the results of mould maintenance /repair;



Ø Commercial tasks / tool/mould supplier management

ü In cooperation with responsible engineer, Inquire for mould and tools quotation for both new moulds and current moulds maintenance /repair from external mould suppliers;

ü Conduct the breakdown analysis (incl. the breakdown comparison summary);

Together with SQE conduct mould and tool supplier audits.

ü Negotiate with the suppliers for commercial terms (cost, payment terms, L/T, guarantees, etc.) as well as the moulds development schedule and sign the mould contract;

ü Payment to suppliers via following the contract clauses.

ü Conduct the on-site checking at supplier site on purpose of supervising the progress to secure that the original development schedule could always be respected;

ü Coordinate the activity of checking before acceptance at suppliers’ site;



Ø Moulds supplier management

ü Set-up for current suppliers the database /profiles

² Supplier name

² Business situation (turnover, annual output capacity, etc.)

² Equipment description

² Quality performance

² …

ü Determine the strategy to optimizing the current supplier database





Qualifications:

Ø Education background

4yrs min the university education background with the specialty of Mould design /development



Ø Working experience

4yrs min working experience as a technician on moulds deign and development +1~2yrs as a purchasing role for moulds business in Die-casting or Plastic injection foreign companies (preferred to be for both)



Ø Technical competency

ü Competitive technical knowledge &experience on moulds /tooling manufacturing;

ü Basic knowledge in die-casting &plastic injection;

ü Good skill of using the software to do the “mould flow analysis”;

ü Capability of problem analysis &shooting identified on moulds



Ø Commercial capability and others

ü Negotiation skills

ü Good knowledge about benchmarking level about machining costs in local market

ü Be able to read and write in proper English, fluent oral ability is preferred

ü Good cooperative attitude among the organization with good team-work spirit
