RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Objectives to the local level and be responsible for ensuring EHS programs/initiatives/ EHS system for Wuxi Facility on going and comply with the corporate EHS guidelines/ government laws.
2.Manage an overall risk based EHS program. Develop annual EHS business plans identifying functional activities, training, machine guarding, ergonomic and other EHS improvements needed with action plans and target implementation dates.
3.Formal processes exist to identify and resolve potential injury risk Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, or working conditions. Lead the JSA/safety risk analysis to identify the risks and make the continuous improvement.
4.Make certain historical injury experience is being focused upon with both improvement goals for both short and long term measurement consistent with corporate EHS initiatives. Track incidents with Pareto analysis to identifyopportunities for improvement. Liaise with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
5.Processes are in place to ensure adequate EHS training is provided. Educate and train the workforce to ensure their awareness and compliance. Organizes EHS drills/orientation according to local needs of the site.
6.Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment. Will served as the champion for rolling out corporate and Regional EHS initiatives and continualimprovement objectives to the local level.
7.Participated as a lead member of the regional EHS focus teams. Build up the local EHS team; fix the responsibilities to ensure the EHS program conducted under control. Formalize protocol for site safety team to assure effective implantation in accordance to corporate directives.
8.Provide direction and oversight to Wuxi campus as it related to the “serious EHSP Notification “directive
9.Responsible for translating and documenting corporate protocol to Wuxi campus (i.e. directives, procedure, templates, training programs, etc.
10.Responsible for performing EHS assessments throughout Wuxi Campus as requested and in accordance to the corporate protocol. Follow up and verify to assure that deficiencies identified as part of assessment are satisfactorily resolved.
11. Develop and implement a the Design in safety and red tag processes for evaluating new and or modified equipment/processes/facilities to assure that operations layout, life safety, machinery and equipment, safe job procedures etc. are set up in compliance with regulatory requirements and/or in accordance with corporate EHS initiatives.
12.Ensure the timely reports required by government and Dana corporate.
13. Protocol exists to assure regulatory compliance.
14. Integrate safety and health culture at all levels of shop floor and management team within Wuxi campus.
15.Continue standardization practices and develop EHS management system for Wuxi campus.
16. Other tasks assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A thorough knowledge of safety and health laws, prefers the certification of safety engineer
2. Strong communication skills, coordination skill
3. Highly energetic personality independent, self-motivated and experienced team player
4. Problem solving and integration abilities, prefers result-orientated work style
5. Proficient in using MS office application
6. Good oral & written communication skill both in English and Mandarin is a must.
7. College degree and above
8. At least have 8 years experience in EHS areas
