Main objectives

- Manages a group of multi-skilled maintenance workers engaged in machine maintenance, alteration and repair work..
- Provides continuous technical direction to maintenance and provides manufacturing support for manufacturing processes.
- Manages and coordinates activities involved in the maintenance and repair of machinery.
- Ensures that subordinates are trained in the performance of their position, including the assessment of needs and arrangement of training for employees. Is responsible for the development of competence level of direct subordinates within the Maintenance area and ensuring that subordinates have the necessary knowledge to perform their jobs.

Areas of responsibility

- Assigns work to maintenance associates, ensuring that jobs progress on a timely basis and that job quality standards are met.
- Completes and maintains paperwork, reports and files required for this position.
- Interfaces with other departments in areas of hiring, job bids, engineering, outside contractor requirements, etc.
- Completes employee performance reviews as applicable.
- Responsible for machine preventative maintenance performance.
- Ensures Open Door Process is supported, promoted and followed.
- Addresses workplace issues and concerns in an efficient and effective manner.
- Must completely understand the process they are responsible for, the tools, equipment, and spare parts in their area of responsibility.
- Must act as a communicator of their employee’s needs, communication up and down the management chain, identify and solve problems independently, identify and eliminate waste, manage housekeeping (5S) within their area or responsibility.
- Take ownership of their work and manage their area of the business as if it is their own business.
- Contributes to the team effort by performing other tasks as requred and accomplishing related results as necessary.

Personal tasks

The personal tasks of the Maintenance Engineer consists of, but are not limited to the following activities:
- Perform work in compliance with federal and local laws and regulations
- Use or wear the personal protective equipment required by Kongsberg Automotive
- Report immediately to your supervisor/manager any known absence or defect of any safety devices or any defects on any equipment that may endanger you or another co-worker
- Report any near misses and/or accidents immediately to your supervisor/manager whether or not the incident results in an injury
- Report to your supervisor/manager any unsafe actions, behaviors, and/or violations that you observe or aware of.


任职要求
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field of automation in industry, machinary or similar occupation, and 3 – 5 years of experience in an equivalent position.

Work experience:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similiar postion
- Must have related IT knowledge about hardware and software, prefer to have practice experience from automation machine production and testing,
- Prefer to have basic knowledge about upper computer(IPC),touch screen, PLC, communication, machine programming with VB, E-view,Lab view.


Special requirements:

- Good written skills in English
- Good communication skills in English
- Some travel may be required, internationally and domestically
- Emergency maintenance repair in case of machine down at night
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all plant personnel and outside contractors
