Job Description,
This is a hands-on upper level management position reporting directly to the GM of a mid-sized MEMS manufacturing company with Manufacturing operations in Wuxi China. The successful candidate must have a big picture view of Manufacturing operations with an overall understanding include production, MFG engineering, equipment, supply chain, inventory, quality, facilities and expansion plans and all other duties related to the Manufacturing operations. In this position you will be responsible for insuring all facets of Manufacturing are integrated and operating in sync. This position requires the ability to communicate in a positive and proactive way, mentoring, coaching and inspiring the workforce and building a strong cohesive team, while maintaining cost controls and meeting company objectives.
1. Evaluating, and improving the quality and productivity of people in the organization while
driving processes to improve quality, service and manufacturing costs.
2. Direct and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Influence the manufacturing vendors and business partners internationally to work within quality guidelines and business procedures.
4. Motivate the management team, retain and grow talent within the site.
5. Ensure application of established financial controls within the facility by providing operating management direction and support to the implementation and maintenance of financial policies, instruction, and internal control procedures.
6. Operate in compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements.
7. Responsibility for the site P&L and the drive towards world class manufacturing.
Job Requirement,
1. Extensive business operations and electronics manufacturing knowledge preferable in MEMS with proven track record of success.
2. Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 9001 and related quality standards
3. Strong financial acumen particularly within profit and loss.
4. Previous general management experience within a manufacturing/ production business.
5. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
6. This position requires a strong hands on operations manager with an ability to coordinate a broad spectrum of management, professional disciplines.
