Strickland Tracks manufacture complete undercarriage track systems for many applications, supplying large original equipment manufacturers and exporting our products around the world.



Our Company Head Quarter is based in the UK and is currently recruiting for an mechanical technician position for a newly established company in Wuxi, China.



The Job Role



As a mechanical engineer / technician, you will

* Responsible for executing and supervising production.

* Inspecting the finished goods. (Quality inspection)

* Preparing technical reports, inspection reports and instruction manuals for workers.

* Liaising with customers and suppliers providing technical support.

* Quality inspections of incoming and outgoing goods.

* Induct, train and communicate with factory staff.

* Quality inspections at the supplier's site, when necessary.

* Responsible for tools and equipment maintenance.



Requirements:

* Must have Degree in mechanical engineering.

* 2 years experience in manufacturing industry preferably in assembly lines.

* Ability to understand and interpret production and assembly drawings.

* Computer literacy in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.

* Commercial awareness would be an asset.

* The ability to prioritise and plan effectively.

* Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
